The Road to Quihi, February 4, 2006

Once again, the Medina Mud Band saddles up for a good cause - our
almost-annual benefit for Inner City Development, Inc.
It was an exciting evening of music, dancing, and fun for a great cause. If your invitation didn't arrive in the mail, check this link:
Quihi 2006

Thanks to the Quihi folks, to the Mudpuppies, the Trinity Ropers and especially to everyone who came and contributed to the Dance and Silent Auction. Councilwoman Patti Radle, co-founder of Inner City, reported that this gig raised the most money of any in the previous 15 years!!

From right and down :
  • The Mudpuppies warm up - they are amazing because they don't get together often as a group, and pulled together to create an awesome opening act - we are nervous about following them!
  • Mike stakes out a spot for the duration.
  • Once again, no one brings any food and we starve before the gig. Not.
  • Councilwoman Patti Radle works to get ready for the Silent Auction.
  • The Quihi Dance Hall is open for business!
  • What, no customers yet? Just wait.
  • We have the only Swedish accordion player in the area - thanks Rolf!!
