The King William Fair Parade
Viva Fiesta, April 2005

The Vanguard signals the start of one of the most unique parades in all of San Antonio's Fiesta Week - the King William Fair Parade - eclectic, to say the least

No parade is complete without a fire truck

What other city has a District Attorney who zips through a parade on a motorized cycle wrapped in a serape? Susan Reed is one tough DA who knows how to have fun.

Horses used to pull the original parade floats in the Battle of Flowers back in the last century.

The dogs are smiling, proud of their outfits

The Drag Queens are also proud of their outfits - and smiling, too. You go, Girls!

King Antonio reigns over the event -
