Mini-Foodstock in September

What a pleasure it was to meet Foodwine listmembers Bob and Rita Coomler here in San Antonio on their vacation visit. On Sunday, we met at the Menger Hotel for brunch, then connected again at Los Barrios, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, on Tuesday night. Bob and Rita were great company, and thanks to the ever-gracious Mary Hogan for joining the group.

Los Barrios was wonderful, as usual - it was so good that Bob and Rita bought the Los Barrios Cookbook - dinner included enchiladas, gorditas, flautas, and Los Barrios' famous Chimichurri Sauce. Viva Foodstocks!
