The 2003 British Sporting Club Car Rally

This is a long tradition in our family - we have known the organizers since the early '60's. Thanks to our Brit friends, Robin and David, for always making sure we are included. They had better - we are multiple past champions!
The idea is to pay a mere pittance, get a list of clues, and do a three hour drive in some of the most beautiful areas of south Texas, then end up at a good friend's home to award prizes, drink beer and ale, and eat barbeque.
Michael is on the alert for answers - the clue is, "You might think you are in South Dakota."
Aha, the answer is Black Hills Burial Park! We actually got one right.
Interesting towns and old architecture along the way - we had never been to some of these places even though they are just 30 miles from the city.
Balancing clues, answer sheets, snacks, drinks - what a tough job - and also trying to keep track of the time and mileage!
