This is a long tradition in our family -
we have known the organizers since the early '60's.
Thanks to our Brit friends, Robin and David, for always
making sure we are included. They had better - we are
multiple past champions!

The idea is to pay a mere pittance, get
a list of clues, and do a three hour drive in some of the
most beautiful areas of south Texas, then end up at a
good friend's home to award prizes, drink beer and ale,
and eat barbeque.

Interesting towns and old architecture
along the way - we had never been to some of these places
even though they are just 30 miles from the
city.

Balancing clues, answer sheets, snacks,
drinks - what a tough job - and also trying to keep track
of the time and mileage!
