The Medina Mud Band at Foxfire, Fall 2002

On a late October weekend, the band gathered at the Sabinal River, returning to Foxfire Cabins, for our annual retreat/musicfest.

After we arrive late Friday night, and before we greet the group at the Main Cabin, Bill and Lyn warm up with a stirring rendition of "Oklahoma!"
The Friday night session is always fun, just because it's good to be playing together again.
Drummer John wears shorts even thought it's about 40 F outside.

Larry warms up the bass, everything sounds good, and all of us make a fairly early night of it.

Saturday morning dawns gray and misty.

The doves in the aviary look fluffed and chilly.
