On a cold gray morning, you have to go
shopping! We head to Utopia, Texas, just down the
road.
|

Main Street Utopia is a great shop!
|

Carol finds a kaleidoscope that brightens up the morning
view.
|
And Dave talks to a banjo-pickin'
firearms and guitar dealer at the Utopia
Emporium.
|

On the road back to the cabin, we come across the Jones
Cemetery - buried here are the founders of the town of
Utopia, which used to be called Montana. How
confusing
|
Back at the cabins, it's time for a walk
down to the river. Mike is actually standing on a rock,
and not in the water, which is probably very
cold.
|
Oh, look, Trouble has arrived in the
form of the second-generation Mud Puppies, Tom, Stuart
and Tod. What can we possibly do to amuse them before the
music starts later this Saturday night?
|
Bill and Sandra have heard rumors of a
secret weapon in Cabin #1.
|
The rumors spread like wildfire, and
soon band people are gathering on the banks of the river
waiting for the dreaded . . .
|

. . .Potato Cannon, aka Spud Gun, crafted by pyrotechnic
and ballistic master, Bill Cook, from PVC pipe, potatoes,
and hair spray.
