Saturday night at the County Line BBQ with dear friends Bill and Carol Cook. Good food, better company!

Another Saturday night, another BBQ joint. We celebrated Bill's birthday at Casey's (above). But before dinner, we opened presents at our house with the help of Champ, the wonder cat.(l.)

A Sunday visit to Gruene (say "Green"), Texas just north of us - notice the Harleys parked in front of the antique store - no place else but Texas.

And here is Michael Belisle (l.), enjoying music on a Sunday afternoon with a very eclectic crowd of patrons at Gruene Hall, where Lyle Lovett used to play for tips.
