Simple and Delicious Asparagus

This is great to take to a picnic as a side dish - you can transport it in a plastic baggie with the marinade and it is served at room temperature - fat-free, too!

1 pound fresh pencil thin asparagus, ends trimmed

2 tablespoons aged Balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic salt

Steam asparagus either in the microwave or in a steamer until bright green but still crisp. Drain, and sprinkle with the Balsamic vinegar and garlic while still hot. Let cool to warm/room temperature. This is so good that it is hard to believe it has only three ingredients.
