For a number of years, I shared a rented studio with a fellow artist and good friend, Carol Mylar. When we had to give up that space, Michael and I converted the garage to a studio space (R.). We had a lot of help from other friends who helped with the construction, particularly from Tracy Dotson, who has a wonderful pottery studio in North Carolina. He and his wife Catherine built their studio, The Pottery, themselves. Their signature glaze, Fishscale Blue, is on pieces in galleries throughout the country.
