"Tips from IEA Mentors" online submission form
Thank you so much for agreeing to be a mentor to our grant awardees this coming year. Your generosity and willingness to share your expertise are deeply appreciated and will undoubtedly make a significant impact on their artistic journeys.

We hope to compile a booklet of tips from our Mentors as a special gift to members and others. I envision the PDF as being about 16-20 pages with info on IEA and other grant opportunities, membership perks, etc. We hope you will contribute

The form below is for you to share your favorite encaustic tip if you are willing- studio practice, tools, approach, philosophy - even your preferred brand of studio snack if it inspires you!

We would love to compile a collection of advice and tips from our esteemed mentors.  The example on the left is a "pretend" one that I put together to give you an ideas of the length and content style of the pages (8.5x11"). Here is a download link for that page. And if you need ideas, here is a list from our grant submissions with questions that were asked by some of those who applied.

I will collect these and design a PDF publication for those who were not chosen for the grant, and we may also use the publication as a valuable resource and motivational gift for current and new IEA members.

I know how busy you all are, but this would involve no more that a paragraph, a photo of you, and one of your work and/or your studio. Please let me know if this is something you might be able to send to me by the end of August. I'll send the final page for your approval before we compile the publication.
