My exploration of vessels—both in my own work and in my workshops—centers on the idea of objects as carriers of meaning. These forms are not simply containers, but keepers of memory, intention, and story. As Objects of Devotion, vessels become a way to gather fragments—visual, material, and emotional—into something whole enough to hold. Through layering, wrapping, and assembling, each piece evolves as an act of attention and care. Whether made from paper, fiber, wax, or found elements, these vessels reflect a deeply human impulse: to honor what we value by giving it form, presence, and a place to belong.
