"I love all of Lyn's online classes. I like having both Lyn's instructional videos (feels like I am in a private class) as well as the written materials. Her ideas are easy to understand, she gives several suggestions on things and provides a materials list. Even though I am familiar with both collage making and encaustic wax, I still learned new ideas." ~ Judith George
"The joy in what you are doing comes through so beautifully in your teaching. It’s contagious!" - Martha Bledsoe
"Lyn - I have really enjoyed all 3 courses I have taken with you! Thank you so much for all your generous sharing of information. I have learned so much and have barely scratched the surface exploring the possibilities." ~ Sue Anne

![]() STRANDS OF LIGHT: A Prayer Flag Sampler. Late last fall, I got excited about the idea of developing a prayer flag workshop because I wanted to introduce my fiber art friends to the joys of mixed media, and vice versa. What a great fusion it would be – paper, fabric and fiber, wax, paint – all the good things combined in flag and banner form. So while I was developing new ways to create and enhance the flags and banners, I talked with my friend Briana Saussy about her beautiful Daily Blessings, which have inspired me often on her website. She graciously agreed to let us access all of her 365 daily blessings . You'll find these things in the workshop, as well as an interview with her. Thanks beyond words, Bri! Strands of Light Link |
With Michelle Belto . . .
Michelle and Lyn have cooked up a challenge . . . When times get tough, the tough get going. During this season of distancing, these two artists have challenged themselves to come up with an artwork with a rather peculiar theme - apple pie?? Their creative journeys take you through encaustic techniques, collage mastery, acrylic glazing, photocollage, form building, triptych construction, and more - much more! This is a unique learning opportunity with over six hours of video instruction in encaustic and mixed media - plus, it's unbelievably entertaining and educational. And the $59 tuition is the nominal fee for a three-hour workshop with either of these artists, but you get two (6 hours of lessons) for the price of one! CLICK HERE FOR INFO |
