I love painting, although I've yet to settle down and focus on one direction. Many of these paintings and mixed-media pieces  are from a recent series called 30 Shades of Twilight. The theme was limited to sunset impressions, and the size was limited to 10"x10." It was a great way to learn technique, texture, and variation within a series.

Several years ago, I was lost and forlorn, having been away from art for too long a time. When I returned to my art practice in 2008, I made over 200 collages that formed journal covers which were sold on Etsy, including some interesting custom ones. I developed my method of teaching composition through these pieces.
