Creative Focus:
Technology for Artists Artists don’t have to be intimidated by technology - and I speak from experience. When I accepted a position in the Computer Science Department at Trinity University in 2003, I was terrified, and spent 14 hour days working to hard-wire my feeble Left Brain to talk to computers. As a result, I have the advantage of being able to teach you an easy way to be fluent with web design, blogging, photo files and manipulation, and networking with the Global community. I use both Windows computers and Macs equally well, and although I’m not a computer hardware expert, it is usually easy for me to find answers when I need them. If you need some basic lessons on photo files, taking simple pictures of your artwork, uploading to a website, starting a blog, or any technological skill that might benefit you as a a creative person with work to share, contact me about a private tutoring lesson. Rates are generally $35 an hour, but I am happy to discuss bartering or arranging other non-traditional compensation :). Email me to talk about a private session. |
